UiPath not detecting elements exists in HTML pages which is stored locally

Hi
I’m unable to identify text box in an html file which is stored in my computer using uipath.
It will not contain any selector value when recording steps or Type activity selected text box.

hello,

what browser are you using? other elements are detected? if you try with a webpage, like google.com you see the same behavior?
have you tried selecting the text box with uiexplorer?
what studio version are you using?
