I was able to successfully upload my local file “test.txt” to sharepoint via Upload File activity. However, the upload file name has been modified to “~tmp1A_text.txt”. I wasn’t able to get rid of “~tmp” prefix. Thoughts?
Hey not sure what might have causing this, do you mind printing name of the file just before upload and see what do you see.
If it’s not ~tmp1A_text.txt , what is the size of text file; If it is a big file >1mb then wait for a while before closing your sharepoint scope and see the results. Possibilities are : your file might not be uploaded completely or handshake between robot and sharepoint is not complete.
@Lakshay_Verma. Your diagnosis is spot on. The “test.txt” file was a dummy file without any content. I just added some content to the file and it was uploaded with the correct file name.
