UiPath Maestro process triggers successfully but doesn't execute any of the steps
Issue Description
UiPath Maestro process triggers successfully, but it doesn't execute any of the steps and within the trace, it returns:
'No spans in the trace, polling continues'
Root Cause
Roles and permissions that are necessary for the Robot Account are not provided.
Resolution
Make sure the Robot User that is running the process has the "Allow to be Automation User" role:
- Navigate to the Orchestrator >> Manage Access >> Respective "Robot Account" >> Edit
- Under the Additional Roles >> Add "Allow to be Automation User" Tenant Role.
- Accounts that have the Allow to be Automation User tenant role should also have the Automation User folder role assigned to them at the folder level.
Navigate to the respective folder >> Users >> "Assign account/group/external app" >> Assign "Automation User" Folder Role.
