In most P2P projects I worked on, the main bottleneck is almost always the 3-way match discrepancy or waiting on the goods receipt.
The bot extracts the invoice, posts it into SAP, and the queue item shows successful. But finance cannot pay because the warehouse has not logged the physical delivery yet, or there is a slight unit price difference.
With traditional RPA the bot just stops there and AP has to chase people over email. Even after the receipt is finally entered days later, nobody tells the bot to clear the payment block.
That is where the split between Maestro Automate and Orchestrate makes sense. The robot does the repetitive ERP entry, but Maestro keeps the overall business process alive in the background. It can wait for the goods receipt event, ping the buyer if needed, and automatically trigger the payment release once the match is resolved, without someone having to build custom polling loops.
