UiPath installation error code 1232: unable to install UiPath community edition, “connection failed: could not find unattended robot for user key”

Thanks in advance.

Hello @ShayinaAlmas,

Navigate to UiPath Cloud and then navigate to admin section. Under, admin section navigate to organization and then in license. There you will find option for license allocation to user from there allocate license to user and then check.

Regards,
Bharat

@ShayinaAlmas

  1. Did you assign the robot role to user and gave a license?
  2. are you on community or free license?
  3. please open UiPath assistant and try to connect from there
  4. but first try assigning license as need

cheers

@ShayinaAlmas,

It’s license allocation issue. Check Developer license allocated to your user Id from Orchestrator admin.

Follow these steps on Orchestrator admin page

Hi @ShayinaAlmas

Please check if you still have license allocated to you, looks like it’s released.

Go to automation cloud → admin → licenses. Check the license assigned tk you.

If none, please assign the license and if should work.

Hey @ShayinaAlmas,

The error “connection failed: could not find unattended robot for user key” may occur if the machine name configured in Orchestrator does not precisely match the local machine name. To resolve this, verify the exact machine name by running whoami in Command Prompt or by checking your system settings. Update the machine entry in Orchestrator to reflect the correct name, then generate and copy the updated machine key. Reconfigure the connection in UiPath Assistant using the correct Orchestrator URL and machine key. Additionally, ensure that the robot is properly assigned to the correct environment and that the domain\username is accurately mapped in the user settings.

Hope this will resolve your problem

Hi @ShayinaAlmas

Could you please share screenshot from admin-> licenses page?

Most likely you don’t have license assigned currently that’s why fall back is happening for unattended.

Do you see any developer license on your licenses screen available to you?

There is no license key for community edition. kindly help

Hi @ShayinaAlmas

I am not asking for license key.

Please navigate to automation cloud → admin → licenses page and share the screenshot
