Uipath extension version? Edge

Hello

I have 25.10.10 studio version and 24.10 UiPath extension version
Is it ok? or should the version of extension switch to 26?

and if i want to update it how do i do it

just open studio backstage view → Tools → UiPath Extensions → Install Edge

It keeps giving me the same version.

You no need to update as you get it same version from when trying from UiPath studio under the tools section.

If you want to update the version you can remove the extension and you can re install or
go to manage the extensions from the browser and turn on the developer mode then you can see Update option by clicking on update option Extension will be updated.

Update the Studio to 2025.10.12 from https://download.uipath.com/versions/25.10.12/UiPathStudio.msi

Uninstall the current Edge extension from Studio and install it back.
Now, you should have the UiPath Browser Automation 26.10 extension.

You can uninstall the UiPath Extension from the Tools section in UiPath Studio and then reinstall it. During reinstallation, UiPath will automatically install the version that is compatible with your current Studio version.

That said, having UiPath Studio 25.10.10 and a UiPath Extension version 24.10 is not necessarily an issue, as UiPath extensions are designed to maintain compatibility across supported Studio versions. If you would like to ensure you are using the latest compatible extension, reinstalling it is the recommended approach.
