Hello UiPath Community,
We are currently running UiPath Enterprise 2020.x and planning to upgrade to the latest UiPath version.
Current setup:
On-prem Orchestrator
Multiple environments (Dev / Test / UAT / Prod)
old Robots are running in windows10 servers
Robots running on newly provisioned Windows 11 servers
Processes include SAP, Web, and Excel automations
We are looking for:
Best practices for upgrading from 2020.x to the latest version
Upgrade prerequisites and compatibility checks
Recommended upgrade path (direct vs phased)
Any known issues or challenges during upgrade
Guidance on Orchestrator, Robots, and Studio upgrade order
If anyone has completed a similar upgrade or can share documentation, experience, or recommendations, it would be very helpful.

first you might need to upgrade to an intermittent version
and then convert to modern folders and then you can upgrade
also if 2020 most of your process might be windows legacy you might need to migrate those as well to windows as in latest version you would see many locked or not editable or even not running.
better reachout to UiPath support team from your customer portal for upgrade as its a pretty old version
definitely you would need some careful considerations for migrating processes , then modern folders and then to intemittent version before coming to latest
