We’re excited to share that UiPath Delegate is now available in public preview, along with the specialized experience of Delegate for testing use cases.
What is UiPath Delegate?
Delegate is the productivity agent you delegate any task to. Describe your task in plain language or show it once, and Delegate acts under your direction across apps, browsers, and business systems on Windows and macOS. Natively embedded in the UiPath Platform, it runs under the same identity, audit, and control plane as the rest of your automation program.

Delegate for testing use cases, your execution partner for QA
Testing isn’t just running cases, it’s the coordination around it that eats into the time that should go to test design and exploratory work: tracking and chasing execution status across test cases, writing up results, re-explaining results to different stakeholders.
For testing use cases, Delegate takes that load off: from a single prompt, it connects natively to Test Manager via the uip CLI to autonomously execute a plain-English manual test case end-to-end, link an existing Orchestrator automation to its Test Manager test case for tracking, and generate persona-tailored, shareable reports for QA engineers, release managers, and developers → no scripting, no manual data export and no tool-switching.
It comes with a tailored home screen and testing-specific skills pre-installed, and is available to anyone with an AppTestDeveloper or AppTesters license.
