UIPath crashes during recording

Hi

I have UIPath 2018.3 and I try to record notepad as shown in the video tutorial.
I start recording but when I click inside notepad, UIPath closes automatically without any error. The same happens even if I try to record any other application. As soon as I make click and start typing UIPath crashes.
In Windows event I get the next error

There is a solution posted there, maybe it is relevant to you as well?

I had the same problem but with Visual Studio and other .Net software. The problem is caused by Fresco Logic USB graphics driver. After uninstalling drivers all programs work normally.

that was it.
I have a USB to VGA adaptor to connect to an external touch monitor.
After I uninstalled Fresco USB driver, recording worked perfectly.
