How to fix the issues with Packing Global Variable projects with the UiPath CLI?
Issue Description:
UiPath CLI Pack Command Errors Out Because Of Missing Global Variables dll file.
Resolution:
The fix for this issue is to make the .local Folder on the Studio machine visible and push it to Git. That way, the CLI will also have the dll file that it is missing, and will complete the build.
Make sure that the .local folder is not hidden and read-only in the Studio project folder.
To do this, right-click on the .local folder -> Properties, go on the General tab, and uncheck the Read-only and Hidden options. Afterwards, click Apply -> OK
Afterwards, perform a Push command to your Git Repository. It should now include the .local folder in the project's folder structure in the Git Repository.
Then, try building the project again with the Pipeline/CLI.
If this is not applicable, another approach would be to use the latest CLI (or a version starting 25.x).
Newer CLIs have the ability to re-create the local folder and not display the issue.
Updating the CLI used to build the project entails also updating the Robot and Studio to ensure compatibility.
