I have a free license of UiPath, with 25 express user licenses.
Today, the UiPath Assistant, which had already been running for some time, appeared showing only the Autopilot tab (see attached image). The Processes and Marketplace tabs are not displayed, so I am unable to run attended processes.
The user has an “Express user” license assigned, and i have connection with orchestrator:
What could be the problem? Until now it was working normally.
The robot is registered into orchestrator as attended.
Hey @jesusferreiro,
For quick solutions, please follow these steps:
- Restart UiPath Assistant: Close and reopen the application.
- Check License: Ensure your Express license supports the Processes tab (this may require an upgrade).
- Check Permissions: Verify that your Orchestrator user has the rights to view processes.
- Verify Orchestrator Connection: Confirm that the connection is active and authenticated.
- Redeploy Processes: Make sure the processes are deployed to Orchestrator.
- Reinstall Assistant: Uninstall and then reinstall the latest version of UiPath Assistant.
Most Likely Cause: The issue may be due to Express user license restrictions or missing process deployment to Orchestrator.
If the issue persists: Please contact UiPath Support with your license and version details.
If you have only an Automation Express or Express User license assigned to your user, only the Autopilot widget will be visible, and you cannot run processes from Assistant anymore.
In case you have at least an Attended license and you still don’t see the processes, that means your organization has deployed an Assistant policy in Automation Ops for your User/Group/Tenant that is disabling other widgets.
Thank you very much for your responses.
I have tried reinstalling UiPath Assistant and configuring it again. I even created a new trial account on another virtual machine, but the result was the same.
I only have an Express User licenses. There used to be “Automation Express” and I could run attended processes. From what you indicate, it seems that is no longer possible. Do you know which license I would need to have in order to run attended processes?
Thank you very much for your time.
At least an Attended Named user license.
I found a post related to this:
https://forum.uipath.com/t/uipath-assistant-express-user-missing-processes/5699155
It’s the same situation.
Perhaps additional information is needed: what are the “Express user” licenses for then if they can’t run processes?
Thank you very much.
