First, change your UiPath Platform URL to remove /orchestrator_/ from the end. For Client ID connections, it should just be:
If you still get that missing DLL error after updating the URL, the update likely corrupted a cached package:
- Close Assistant and kill UiPath from Task Manager.
- Go to
%localappdata%\UiPathand delete the.cachefolder. - Restart the UiPath Robot service in
services.msc.
If that doesn’t clear it, running a quick Repair on the UiPath installer should replace the missing System.IdentityModel.Tokens.Jwt file.
hey @Ammaz_Ahmed1 ,
This seems to be an incomplete/damaged update for UiPath — Assistant is unable to load System.IdentityModel.Tokens.Jwt, Version=6.34.0.0.
Please try the following:
- Quit UiPath Assistant entirely (also kill all UiPath processes using Task Manager).
- Click Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → UiPath Studio → Modify.
- If this doesn’t work, remove UiPath Studio/Assistant and install latest UiPath Studio/Robot installer by UiPath.
- Reboot your PC and open Assistant.
I don’t recommend downloading the DLL manually from any external website. A repair/reinstallation process will resolve this issue.
Hi @Ammaz_Ahmed1,
Firstly, clear the Assistant’s local cache as old, cached DLLs from the previous version can conflict with the new ones. Cache can be found under: %LOCALAPPDATA%\UiPath & %APPDATA%\UiPath
If that doesn’t resolve, then try reinstalling the Assistant. Since this maybe an assembly-loading failure when it tries to authenticate the Orchestrator connection, the update likely didn’t fully install or overwrote a dependency incorrectly. Uninstall UiPath Assistant completely, then do a fresh install of the latest version rather than an in-place update.
I hope this helps.
Cheers!
Hi @Ammaz_Ahmed1 ,
Try these steps once:
- Repair or reinstall UiPath Robot/Assistant
- Uninstall UiPath Robot/Assistant.
- Download the latest installer from your UiPath Automation Cloud tenant.
- Reinstall and reconnect to Orchestrator.
- Clear local UiPath cache
- Close Assistant.
- Delete contents from:
%localappdata%\UiPath%userprofile%\.nuget\packages(optional)
- Restart the machine and try again.
- Check .NET Runtime
- Ensure the required .NET Desktop Runtime version for your UiPath release is installed.
- Reinstall/repair the runtime if needed.
- Verify version compatibility
- Make sure Robot, Assistant, and Studio are on compatible versions.
- If the issue started immediately after an update, upgrade all components to the latest patch.
- Collect logs
- Click Create Archive in the error window.
- Review logs in
%localappdata%\UiPath\Logsand share them with UiPath Support if the issue persists.
Thanks
