Hello UiPath Gurus,
I went through as much possible material I could consume under the academy, forum and Youtube Videos online. But I just couldn’t find a solution to this specific dilemma at the moment.
I understand that most of the Use cases currently visible to me; under the platform require user Authentication through the Orchestrator and setting up user-groups there to allow regular App/RPA Users to access the Apps with specific controls.(Managing access and automation capabilities)
But since we are allowing a new ‘Publish to Public Feature’ I was wondering if setting up another Login: Username/Password | Forgot Password functionality is a good idea?
I’m considering using the Config file suggestion as mentioned in the forums but i don’t know where to start with it and what material to lookup, since i have to ensure that there will be registrants to the application once published… i don’t know where that Profile: Username/Password data will be stored.
Im not even sure if this would make sense for re-directing to SSO Authentication via User Devices saved;
The user types that would need to access this with role definition would be the following:
- Internal Company Users >> with access to most of the app functionalities via the dashboard.
- External Un-authenticated Users >> with access to register.
- External Authenticated users >> with access to some app functionalities via the dashboard.
Is there a simpler way of going about this?
I’ve looked up these posts; (Great References btw)
(How do i create a login for any website)
Any help > references > coaching would be deeply appreciated.
