UiPath Apps licensing with unattended robot

Hi all
I’m considering the possibility of using apps to automate a business process. I have a studio license and an unattended robot, can I develop an app that will run an unattended robot process and make it available to users? If I have 5 users (non-developers), do I need to buy 5 licenses for them to have access?

If you want to leverage the UiPath Apps that are already deployed then you can opt for the Action center SKU which includes Apps + DS + IS. So essentially you need to buy action center User SK. Its for Users.

Hi, Aravind Balineni
Thank you for your answer. I don’t think I’ll need Action Center fully, we don’t plan to do Orchestration process or HITL (at least not yet). Will it be enough to purchase only the apps?

Developing an App to Run an Unattended Robot Process

-Develop the App : Using UiPath Apps, you can design and create an app that will interact with your unattended robots. This app can provide an interface for users to trigger processes, input data, and view results.

-Connect to Orchestrator : Your app will connect to UiPath Orchestrator, which is responsible for managing the unattended robots. The app will send a request to Orchestrator to start a specific process on an unattended robot.

Making the App Available to Users:

-User Access : Users will interact with the app, but they don’t necessarily need individual robot licenses to trigger processes on unattended robots. Instead, they need to have access to the UiPath Orchestrator.

-Orchestrator Licenses : You need to ensure that your Orchestrator is configured to allow these users to log in and trigger processes. The users will need to have Orchestrator accounts, which may require additional licenses depending on your current Orchestrator licensing agreement.

Cheers,!

Hi
Thank you for your answer.

Orchestrator Licenses : You need to ensure that your Orchestrator is configured to allow these users to log in and trigger processes. The users will need to have Orchestrator accounts, which may require additional licenses depending on your current Orchestrator licensing agreement.

This, in fact, is what interests me. I’m not new to development, but the issue of licenses is new to me. We have several tools to choose from to solve this problem, so price matters and it’s very difficult for me to calculate it. I only need 1 app that will be used by about 5 people a few times a week. That is, there is really little working time there. I have an untended license, which will be used by the robot from the app, as well as a developer license, I am interested in how much it will cost to use the app with a low load

In that case, you can try this:

or you can UiPath Apps as add on.

Check this as well:

I think add on for UiPath Apps will be a best suit for you.

It looks more suitable for me. Thank you!

You’re welcome if that helps.
