General UI improvements

Several changes were made to streamline your experience. Please explore Studio and let us know how it feels!

Workflow Analyzer

To learn more about this new tool, check our documentation here. To see the description of the currently available rules and to see how you can modify them, see here.

You will now be able to easily spot design inconsistencies in your projects via the Errors pane



We are aiming for customization here too :slight_smile:

Resource Pane

Thanks to the new Resources pane you can now fetch your Orchestrator assets and queues to easily reference them in your project

Simpy refresh your Orchestrator resources to see it:

From this panel you can also quickly navigate to your Orchestartor

Debugging

Editing variables in the Locals pane during debugging

You can now edit the values of variables and arguments directly in Locals pane when debugging is paused

Test bench for your activities from the Activities pane!

You can test any activity directly from Activities pane without adding them to your process!

Ability to ignore exception and continue debugging!

Ignore button now allows you to skip an exception and continue debugging!

Locals panel now displays all the properties before the current activity is executed!

Productivity changes

We are committed to make your life easier. This is why we have implemented several quality of life improvements.

Bulk actions for project settings

You can now easily manage your settings between Debugging and Production

Activities pane improvements

It can now group activities by packages

As well as display which package does specific activity comes from

You can now easily tell which package contains which activities :slight_smile:

Annotations improvements

Annotating arguments in Library projects will result in a tooltip for that argument after library project is published

Annotations can now be added with a shortcut (Shift+F2) and will be docked by default (the latter can be configured in settings

You can now quickly edit your activity names by pressing F2 on your keyboard

When editing your Expressions in Studio, you will now need to use Shift+Enter to enter a new line. Pressing Enter will close the window

Project pane will now display by default all files in the project’s directory

More Studio translations!

You can now set your Studio language to Portuguese (Portugal), German or South Korean.

Studio might also ask you now to fill in a survey about your experience. Please do, as we value your feedback :slight_smile:

And many improvements and bug fixes to existing features

Awesome work guys!!! This is the best RPA tool ever.

Today I just attended a RPA workshop. It was on a different tool. When we started working on it, I really had this great feeling “UiPath is way better than these tools”…

All the features looks very useful :clap: . But I am unable to download 2019.9 version from platform.uipath.com as it downloads older version 2019.8.0 again, from where we need to download this
