UiExplorer version post 2018.2.6 blocked by Group Policy

To White-List a package found in userProfile\.nuget\packages, the exact application filename that is required to be whitelisted for UiExplorer to work needs to be known ?

Issue Description: Requiring to White-List a package found in userProfile\.nuget\packages, the exact application filename that is required to be whitelisted for UiExplorer to work needs to be known.

Resolution:
There are two different behaviors:

  • Since version 2018.3, the Packages folder has been moved from Program Files to %userProfile%\.nuget\packages. This means that in 2018.2.x Program Files packages was white-listed, and with the new version the package is not white-listed at %userProfile%\.nuget\packages

  • With 2018.2.6 it does not properly detect the elements and might NOT be related to GPO policies. If it was previously working , then it is the specific page that is tried to automate, that might not be exposing the selectors or if using a browser like Chrome or Firefox, to not have the proper extensions installed.
