UiAutomation.Activities 25.10.x disables localserver computervision

Dear all,

For a new project i updated the UiAutmoation.Activies from version 24.x.x to 25.10.x
We use localserver for privacy related issues.

After the uiautomation got updated the localserver computervision does not work anymore

It should be noted that localserver is installed and shown on the dependency list
The same project in UiAutomation 24.x.x does still work with the localserver computer vision.

I think this is a bug. Anyone same experiences?

Did you look in project settings to make sure local server is still set to true? Did you also upgrade your ComputerVision dependency?

Thanks for your reply.

Localserver is indeed checked as true in the project settings and all other CV/OCR packages are also upgraded.

I tried creating a new project → same error
Creating a project with UiAutomation 24.x.x → No error

Hi @TimB, tagging @postwick for information

UiAutomation 25.10.0, 1 and 2 have this issue when using Modern activities at Design time. The indicate experience will trigger the CV Local Server issue.

UiAutomation 25.10.3 is being prepared as we speak to address this issue. Estimated delivery: Monday, the 19’th of May.

Apologies for the problems caused.
I would advise to use 24.10 till Monday.

It contains the ComputerVision.LocalServer fix.
