UI Path UI?

When I click on a Sequence the UI jumps to focus on that sequence, moving the sequence title to the top of the screen instantly.

I understand what it’s doing, and I can guess as to why it was designed like this, but I don’t prefer it. It feels like trying to read a book while someone is constantly smacking it. I find it confusing / distracting. Each time the page jumps it takes a moment to re-orientate my brain, distracting my concentration from the workflow.

Is there a way to turn this jumping OFF? I want to click on a box and just have it highlight - like any other UI would work - not move everything I was looking at suddenly to a different view - or out of view altogether, depending.

A single click will highlight and double click will expand. So any problem with the mouse ?
