UI Path system requirement for less than 3 robots

#1

We are planning to do a RPA PoC using UiPath. I have few basic questions as I am very new to UiPah

  1. What is the current version (not trial or beta) of UiPath ?
  2. Can I develop and run automated process without Orchestrator being installed? We want to eliminate the need of server machine for PoC
  3. If Orchestrator is required then can it be deployed on Windows 7 machine?

I need the answers quickly, appreciate your help

Hello!

Welcome to Uipath Forum

  1. What is the current version (not trial or beta) of UiPath ?
    A: UiPath v2017.1

  2. Can I develop and run automated process without Orchestrator being installed? We want to eliminate the need of server machine for PoC
A: No. Orchestrator is not required to run a robot. You can do it with your Uipath Studio Version as well.

  3. If Orchestrator is required then can it be deployed on Windows 7 machine?
A: Yes. Orchestrator can run in Windows7 if you want.

Thanks for quick response. Does it need access to SQL server in this kind of setup?
