Trying to do save as in excel using native citrix recorder

Hello, I am trying to save a file I have downloaded in excel using the native citrix recorder (The excel file is created by a software package on a virtual machine) . When I try using the click, and type, the automation will not stop and put the filename I want to use for the file. It just type the name in, it just goes onto the save. When I try using hot keys, it doesn’t seem to work at all. Has anyone run into this issue before?
