Try Catch is breaking

I am trying to use a try catch activity but the try part is failing every time I run it even when I know it should work. I have tested it from the some exact place in a separate workflow and the activity in the try works. what could be causing this?

I am using a Get Full Text screen scrape that is an exact copy of the one i mentioned testing.
