How can the unresponsiveness issue related to the 'Keep' button in Microsoft Edge's download prompt be resolved in an unattended Robot after upgrading to version 133.0?
Issue Description:
After upgrading to version 133.0, users report unresponsiveness of the 'Keep' button in Microsoft Edge's download prompt during Unattended Robot operation. The issue persists despite updates to existing selector settings.
Affected Environment:
The environment operating Studio 24.10.9 and UiPath.UiAutomation.Activities version - 24.10.11 is subject to this issue.
Symptoms:
- This issue only affects the workflow performed in Unattended Robots, while the same workflow works fine in Studio and Attended Robots.
- All other User Interface (UI) elements, apart from the ones in the download prompt, are working normally.
- Error logs display that the 'Keep' button cannot be located.
- The "Login to Console" option to the existing console session in Orchestrator is enabled and set to 'Yes'.
Resolution:
The cause of the issue lies in the attempt to refocus an already focused Edge window, leading the “Downloads” popup to vanish. The resolution involves modifying "Click" activity properties for the 'Keep' button.
To resolve this, specific properties fields of the "Click" activity must be updated:
- Verify execution = Null: This setting stipulates that the Click activity does not need to double-check the success of the action.
- Activate = False: This setting directs the activity not to bring the target application to focus before the action's execution.
