Transfer Community Edition License

I am need to transfer my copy of Community Edition to a new laptop. I have installed and tried the “renew license” link, but this is not working. It says the device is already activated.

WORKAROUND: "Device ID already activated" error

UPDATE: The error is resolved starting with 2019.4 version. Please get the latest Studio version. Device ID already activated - as I have mentioned before, this happens when you previously activated your Studio with a Trial key and after expiring you want to go back to using Community Edition. When I go to Studio, and Acquire License from Orchestrator, I get this error

When I go to the Robot, and Settings,

I get “Invalid Machine Key”

If so, do you still have the original laptop that you used with your community License?

I’m not the original poster but I am having the same issue. and I still have the original for now.
