It seems to have started after the update to version 2026.0.200, but in some activities on the flowchart, only a small box appears as shown in the attached image when double-clicking, and the content is no longer displayed, making it difficult to implement changes. (It was working normally when I made implementation changes about a month ago.)
As far as I have confirmed, this occurs with activities such as:
Using applications/browsers
Parallel loops
In the properties pane on the right side of the screen, nothing related to the implementation is displayed. The only way to find the target activity and see the implementation content is through the “Overview” feature, which allows browsing the source code structure in tree view, and opening “Body” etc. at that point.
I have tried restarting and reinstalling STUDIO, but the issue persists, and the same phenomenon occurs even when newly placing the relevant activity. If anyone knows of similar cases or has information that might lead to a solution, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
Thank you for sharing the detailed information and screenshot.
Since the issue occurs even with newly added activities and still persists after restarting and reinstalling Studio, this may be related to the Studio 2026.0.201 version or the installed activity package versions rather than the specific project.
A few things you could try:
Create a completely new blank project and check if the same issue occurs.
Try changing the UiPath.System.Activities and UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities package versions to an earlier compatible version and test again.
Check whether changing the Studio display scaling or Windows display scaling makes any difference, as sometimes UI rendering issues can cause activity content not to display correctly.
If possible, try opening the same project in a previous Studio version to confirm whether this started specifically after updating to 2026.0.201.
Since activities like Use Application/Browser and Parallel For Each are both affected, it seems like this could be a Studio designer rendering issue.
Please let us know if you are using any custom Windows display scaling or multiple monitors as well. That might help narrow down the cause.
This sounds more natural and doesn’t claim a definite solution without confirmation.
This looks more like a Studio UI/display issue introduced after the update rather than an issue with the activities themselves.
Since it also happens with newly added activities and reinstalling Studio didn’t help, I would try resetting Studio user settings/layout and check if the issue occurs with a new blank project.
You could also try rolling back to the previous Studio version where it was working normally. If the issue started specifically after version 2026.0.200, it may be worth reporting it to UiPath Support as a possible product issue.
I have received many ideas from various people and am trying them out as far as possible, but I have not yet reached a solution.
Below, I’ll briefly outline the results for each suggestion.
Verifying by creating a new empty project
There have been no improvements, and the same phenomenon has occurred.
Downgrading UiPath.System.Activities and
UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities
I checked the records from the last implementation change (2026/08/08) and set the versions that were configured at that time, but the same issue occurred.
(Combinations of versions I reverted to)
UiPath.System.Activities 26.6.1
UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities 24.10.0
Studio display scaling
Changes by modifying Windows display scaling
I was originally developing with both set to 100%. I tried changing to extreme values, but it didn’t seem to be a rendering issue.
Resetting Studio user settings/layout
There have been no improvements, and the same phenomenon has occurred.
Going back to an earlier version of Studio that was working properly
Since my development environment is Community Edition, I am unsure how to verify with previous Studio versions and have not been able to try.
Could you please share the exact version of Studio you’re experiencing the issue with, as well as the list of activity packages you have installed and their versions?
I browsed through various topics in the community and made some progress, so I’d like to share this information.
Using the application/browser
After deleting the “.local” folder in the existing project and restarting Studio, the implementation within the activities can be displayed by double-clicking as before, and it has returned to a state where implementation changes are possible.
Parallel Iteration
As for this, there has been no change so far even after implementing the above measures.
Thank you for your attempts to reproduce the issue and for your response.
Before answering your reply, I would like to add one point in response to the topic. Regarding “Using Application/Browser,” the issue was resolved by deleting the .local folder. However, the issue with “Parallel For Each” persists.
I will provide additional information regarding the environment.
The current status is as follows:
Thank you for confirming the reproduction.
It does feel like there is some sort of bug…
I would like to wait for an update for a while.
By the way, in my environment,
for existing code where logic has already been implemented in the respective activity,
the area in the properties panel that says “Drop activity here” is empty and nothing is displayed.
However, in a new empty project, it is the same as the diagram you attached,
but when you drop an activity into the “Drop activity here” area,
everything seems to work fine at first,
but for example, when you focus on other activities in the designer panel and then come back,
the content you implemented disappears.
