# 変数名や読取にタイ語を使用することはできますか？

変数の中身には問題なく使えます（UTF-8にタイ語の文字も定義されているので）

変数名に関しては、日本語の全角数字等でもエラーの原因になったりするので、いわゆる「半角アルファベット＋数字や一部の記号」だけに留めておくほうが無難かと思います。

OCRに関してはちょっと専門外なので何とも言えませんが、tesseract-ocrのデータ（ [GitHub - tesseract-ocr/tessdata\_best: Best (most accurate) trained LSTM models.](https://github.com/tesseract-ocr/tessdata_best) ）にはタイ語の学習ファイルがないようなので、標準機能だとかなり厳しいかもしれません。  
別途、タイ語のOCRソフトを用意すればあるいは、とは思いますが・・・。
