To work with browser tabs you need to install the UiPath extension for Studio Web.
Issue Description
While trying to work with Use Application/Browser activity in Studio Web, the following warning/error cand occur 'To work with browser tabs you need to install the UiPath extension for Studio Web'.
Cause
This behavior is expected if the UiPath Studio Web Automation extension is not installed in your browser.
Important Note: Don’t confuse UiPath Browser Automation 2.x.x browser extension with UiPath Studio Web Automation browser extension. The former is a browser extension intended for on-premises UiPath Studio/Robot Desktop automations, whereas UiPath Studio Web Automation is a separate browser extension specifically designed for UiPath Studio Web and UiPath Assistant/Robot on macOS.
Resolution
- For Chrome browsers, make sure that the UiPath Studio Web Automation extension is installed.
