When I go to publish my automation, I get the following error message “The tag present in the reparse point buffer is invalid”.

Are you getting this error while publishing the project or even running the process ?

If you are not getting this error while running the process then check whether you have any unnecessary workflows in the project folder. If yes then please delete it and then check it once.

No issue running the process. Only when I try to publish and push/commit.

Can you check whether your project folder contains any unnecessary files. If yes then delete it and then check once.

Got it! There were duplicate git files for some reason.
