The Start bar in Windows

Hi there,

I’m sorry for maybe stupid question, but my colleague asked me and I didn’t know answer. So I searched the internet, but I didn’t find answer. This place is ideal for find right answer. :slight_smile:

And question? Can I automate the Start bar in Windows?

Case:
I want click to Start (in the lower left corner of the bar) and select Control panel.

Just do basic recording. It works.
Click Activity → Start button
Type Into → Control Panel + k(enter)

Can I confirm “admin dialog” in Windows?

Case:
After I get into the Control center and I want change some settings, I must confirm some dialog. Can I automate this step?

Yes. You can use basic recording or desktop recording for the same.

I tried it and it does not work. :frowning:

For successful confirm dialog, robot requires admin authorization and when I recording in Studio, in this step - Studio stops responding.
