Resolution for the error thrown during upgrade from 2019.10.14 to 2022.4.4: " UiPath.IdentityServer.Directory.Abstractions.Interfaces.DirectoryAdapterException: DomainUnreachable ---> System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.ActiveDirectoryServerDownException: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted."

Name: "vwuk.corp

Issue Description:

UiPath.IdentityServer.Directory.Abstractions.Interfaces.DirectoryAdapterException: DomainUnreachable

---> System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.ActiveDirectoryServerDownException: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

Name: "vwuk.corp"

Resolution:

  1. Run from cmd:
  • nltest /vwuk.corp
  1. If the command does not display the DNS information, user need to add DNS rules.
