Thank you all for pointing it out. The intentions were good here, but we’ve overlooked this tiny use case…
Good news, it is a setting for Studio so you can do a few clicks and have it as it was previously:
More good news - we will fix it in the future anyway so that you can still see your annotations with top-level sequences gone.
