The 'Microsoft.Mashup.OleDb.1' provider is not registered on the local machine

Hi I’m using a “Refresh Pivot Table” activity inside an “Excel Application Scope”.
When I run the sequence I get the following error:
Refresh Pivot Table: We couldn’t refresh the connection ‘Requête - MSTR DP Data Extract’. Here’s the error message we got:

Failed to connect to the server. Reason: The ‘Microsoft.Mashup.OleDb.1’ provider is not registered on the local machine.
The ‘Microsoft.Mashup.OleDb.1’ provider is not registered on the local machine.

The the program fails. However, when I manually open the Excel file and Refresh All, no problems!

This sequence has been working fine for several months. But has been showing this error only for the last couple of days. Can anyone help?

Thanks
Thierry

Hello @CRETE_Thierry

You might want to check the “best response” to this thread . Looks like even if the Refresh All works, this error shows up after some time and under certain conditions.

Hope this helps.
