Error "The machine XYZ cannot be deleted", because it has triggers attached to it (#1613) while deleting machines?

Error: "The machine XYZ cannot be deleted because it has triggers attached to it (#1613)".


Root Cause: It happens usually when the Standard machine is added in a modern folder.

Resolution: The steps to perform before deleting the Standard machine,

  1. Go to each Modern folder -> Machines -> check if the Standard machine is present in the list
  1. If present, try to Unassign from folder -> Unassign
  2. If error message "The machine is assigned to trigger YOUR_TRIGGER_NAME in folder Shared (#1613)" is thrown,
    1. Go to the respective Modern folder -> Automations -> Triggers
    2. Remove the YOUR_TRIGGER_NAME
    3. Check if in the Jobs there is a scheduled job for the Standard machine (XYZ),
    4. If job is found, find it and stop it.

  1. Repeat the same steps for each folder.
  2. In the end go to Tenant -> Machines -> find the Standard machine (XYZ) -> Remove -> Delete .
