The floating robot's session is already active on machine [My Machine]

I deleted the robot & machine from Orchestrator to move to another machine, now I can’t sign into Studio to publish, nor sign into Assistant.

The error is The floating robot’s session is already active on machine [My Machine]. I signed out of Assistant on Machine A, rebooted, etc - still couldn’t get Studio / Assistant licenced on Machine B. Signed out on B and returned to A, still can’t sign in.

“The floating robot’s session is already active on machine [this machine]”

Any ideas? I thought there would be a heartbeat signal which would timeout / free up the licence.

For anyone else with this issue:

Go to the Tenant → Users → click the user and disable Attended Robot & Unattended Robot if you prefer to work to the instructions in the Academy training (to setup ‘Classic’ Provisioned robots).

The autogen licence did end up working after multiple attempts.
