TFS Connection : Downloads All The Data In The Root Folder

Resolution when connecting with the TFS from the UiPath Studio, the TFS downloads all the data from the Root folder instead of pointing to the current workspace.

Workaround:

  1. Once connected to the TFS from the UiPath Studio, open the “Edit Workspace” from the Visual Studio. Here find a workspace created by UiPath, usually named, “Workspace_machineName”

  2. Click on edit to edit this workspace

  3. It will be mapped to the Root folder of the project trying to work on, marked in blue

  1. Change this mapping to a current location of the Project under Local Folder, marked in red. Workspace will be updated

  2. Open the UiPath Studio from this folder and connect to the TFS.
