Test Suite Stuck in Pending in Orchestrator Enterprise – Do I Need a Testing License?

Hello everyone,

I’m working with UiPath Orchestrator (Enterprise license) and I’m encountering an issue when trying to run a Test Suite (Test Set). Specifically, if I launch a Test Set with multiple test cases, the job remains stuck in the “Pending” state, and no logs are generated.

However, if I run each Test Case individually, the execution works perfectly and completes as expected.

My questions:

  1. Do I need an additional Testing license to run a Test Suite from Orchestrator?
  2. If yes, could you explain the process (configuration steps, settings required in Orchestrator, etc.)?
  3. If not, what other aspects should I check (Orchestrator configuration, robot, machine, user account, etc.)?

If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has expertise with UiPath Test Suite, I would really appreciate a step-by-step guide or any advice on how to configure and execute it properly.

Thank you in advance for any insights!

Hi @Alexandru_Duta,

Can you go through below guide and see if you have done all the pre-requisites(licensing/setups) mentioned?

Hi Sonali,

Thank you for your previous response. I don’t want to use Test Manager, but I would like to clarify: what type of license is required to have the “Testing” field active when configuring a machine template? Is a special testing license needed, or does this field become available through specific configuration settings?

Currently, the screenshot was taken from my Orchestrator where I’m using the Community version. On the Enterprise version, I don’t see this “Testing” field.

Thank you in advance!
