Test Manager & Jira Cloud: Erroneous oAuth Authorization

Hi @Gernot_Brandl,

there are two bugs related to the integration between the latest Jira Cloud version (Nov 5th, 2022) and Test Manager (Community Edition). The connection between Test Manager and Jira Cloud has been established successfully since requirements are synchronized without any problems.

The two bugs below seem to be related with OAuth as authorization type. These problems do not occur when the authorization type is Basic Authentication.

Bug #1: Authorization not working

Step 1: Click ‘Authorize’ in the dashboard section of Test Manager.
Step 2: Grant Test Manager access to Jira Cloud.

→ Test Manager then shows the error message ‘Internal Server Error’.

Bug #2: Cannot create defects

Step 1: Go to a failed test case
Step 2: Click ‘Create Defect’
Step 3: Grant Test Manager access to Jira Cloud.

→ Test Manager then shows the error message ‘Internal Server Error’.
