Test Manager: Inconsistent Search Behavior

Hi @Gernot_Brandl,

when you search artifacts (e.g., test cases, requirements) in Test Manager, then the search does not support partial matching. This is inconsistent to how the search works in Orchestrator.

Example: Imagine that you have the following three test cases in Test Manager.

(1) Create Loan Request
(2) Delete Loan Request
(3) Modify Loan Request

Searching for ‘loan’ or ‘request’ doesn’t provide any search results.

This is correct. At the moment, only left-match is supported for performance reasons. Expect some changes here. Ptw, the best way to improve searchability is, to use object labels. Use them extensively, they are super fast when searching.
