Terminal Session Activity Error – “Install .NET Package” Pop-up Despite .NET 6.0 (32-bit) Installed

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue while using the Terminal Session activity in UiPath. I consistently receive a pop-up message prompting me to “install .NET package,” even though I have already installed .NET 6.0 (32-bit) on my system.

Here are the details of my setup:

UiPath Studio version: 2023.10.6

Terminal activity package version: 2.7.3

Project type: Windows

.NET version installed: .NET 6.0 (32-bit)

I’ve double-checked that the correct .NET version is installed, but the error still persists.

Has anyone faced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

@akhil_n.v,

Have you tried restarting the machine after .Net installation? If not, try it.

If first approach already tried, try installing the runtime from once as the .Net 6 is already out of support.

If the issue persists, try updating the Terminal Activity Package to version 2.8+ which does not require the .NET desktop runtime to be installed.

@ashokkarale I have restarted the machine.

first I installed.NET 8 version only at that time also I got this error, then I uninstalled that and installed 6 version

@goprisko as my studio version is 2023.10.6 I have 2.7.3 as latest terminal package version

Alright @akhil_n.v

@loginerror could you please help on this.

@ashokkarale FYI I am using IBM EHLL API connection method
