Temporarily disabling a robot for maintenance access

Hi all,

Is there a way to temporarily disable jobs from executing on a machine, rather than disabling or editing triggers, so that IT can connect to a particular machine to perform maintenance? What if that leaves no machines - can items wait until the machine is enabled again? It seems sensible that with dynamic allocation we could take a machine out of the pool briefly for this purpose.
