Tasks generated from Create Form task activity are not visible in Orchestrator

I used a simple Create Form task activity in a Sequence(setting for Starts in Background and Supports Persistence - both enabled, also with dependencies - FormActivity and Persistence Activity), it executed fine saying “Task created with Id 641849” but it is not visible in Orchestrator even with Admin rights. Please help to find out what’s going wrong.

Can you please share which edition you are on? enterprise or community one?

Also, do you mean you are not able to view any actions created by you under Actions in orchestrator?
Are you able to see those actions in action center?

I am working on 2021.4 enterprise version and yes, the issue is that I am not able to view actions under Actions in orchestrator.
Also, I am not using Action center yet, as I am not having any license for it. It will be next step in my POC to get Action center license and verify it. But first I wanted to check in Orchestrator at least if the actions are present there and I am going in right direction.

Hi @sumit.tyagi,

Are you able to show the screenshot for role permissions that you have enabled to carry out this task?

Also, when you go to actions under orchestrator, by default you will be routed to below screen “My Actions” but if you don’t have permissions to do action assignment as well, it won’t show up there.

Can you please switch this “My Actions” to “Manage Actions” by selecting from drop down and see if you are able to see any actions there?

Also, administrator default role doesnt have action assignment privileges and cant be edited also, so if you have not already done that, I would suggest to create a role for “Admin Action Center” , and have all below permissions set and run the tests. Or may be you can just modify already available “Folder Administrator” role to also include below permissions and assign it.

For the Action Assignment part, I have create permissions but not for View, Edit , Delete.

HI @sumit.tyagi,

As per this note, I would recommend to create another role with all these permissions enabled and even view for action assignment as if you don’t have view for action assignment, I dont think you will be able to see any tasks in actions under unassigned as that allows us to view unassigned actions so those can be assigned. And if you dont have view enabled, it wont show anything but you can do action assignment view code in that case.
