Switching Orchestrator without Admin Rights

We have three different orchestrators (Test, Productive and disaster recovery). In order to connect to the orchestrator, we received temporary admin rights, but afterwards we are running the robots without local admin rights.
Now we told the client that if it might occur in the future that we immediately need to change from the productive orchestrator to the disaster recovery, we would need admin rights again.

However, receiving admin rights again is not an option.

Is there any other solution to switch the UiPath on a Virtual Machine from one Orchestrator to another without admin rights?

I had a similar problem at a client previously. I don’t believe that you need local admin rights on the machine but see this thread

Hi guys, We have a client who are not willing to give local admin rights on the VM. We know that the robot can be started when using a system admin account but it won’t start with the user account that does not have local admin. Is there anything else that can be changed to get around this? The user account is not able to amend the robot config settings in the system tray. Cheers, Richard
