We are planning for modern folder migration from classic folders. current OC version is 2022.10.2 and more than 1000 robots maintaining. Hence would like to migrate classic folders using Orchestrator Manager migration tool manually. Can someone share your experience about modern folder migration and the steps to be followed? Also please share some key points before migration for consideration. Thanks in advance.

If its only folder migration then from the process perspective mothing would be effected
But in modern folders you wont have environments ao if you defined any environments then that might be effected and you might need to create groupds and folders based on the machine allocation you need
Apart from that robots are now merged with users

Before migration, clean up classic folders, take a full backup, check machine templates, and review user roles.
Steps: enable modern folders, use the migration tool folder by folder, map users/groups, and validate jobs, schedules, assets, and triggers. Test attended and unattended runs.
Do it in phases, not all robots at once, and keep a rollback plan ready. Try first in a lower environment to catch issues.

If you are in classic folders, and your Orchestrator supports modern folders, then please proceed with the migration and then version upgrade. we did the modern folder migration manually using Orchestrator Manager tool as we have more robots and entities.
