The license of Studio X can be used for multiple machines or is the same as that of Uipath Studio that only one license is for one machine, this in reference to Business license.
Hi @JoeV,
I let myself to make new topic from your question
At the moment StudioX is part of Community Preview release of Studio. So it’s working on same conditions than Studio Community Edition. Here you have more information and short overview on how to run it
But how do you plan to use a license when it becomes stable for business, a license will be applied to several machines?
Hi
It should be same as UiPath Studio License because StudioX works on Studio only with different profile.
Thanks
AR
When it will become Enterprise available, if you have a Studio license you’ll have access to StudioX profile also. You will also be able to buy only StudioX licenses (having this will not give access to Studio profile).
And this Studio X license for how many machines will be available?
For as many as you need. It will be just like Studio, but a different profile.
Can we buy only studio X license only ?
Yes, you can buy only Studio X licenses, but you won’t have access to the Studio profile if you do so.
¿What is the cost of a robot developed with Studio X? Is the same cost for an unattended Robot developed with Studio? and ¿what is the date to release Studio X for enterprise environment?
StudioX will be released in Enterprise with the 20.4 release (in April)
StudioX is for business users mostly, meaning that it’s mostly intended to be used in attended scenarios. That being said, you can use the StudioX Robot as an Attended Robot to run your automations in production. (the robot that comes with the StudioX installer, you can use the same key to license it)
For unattended scenarios, you should buy Unattended Robot (available only if you have Orchestrator).
Hi Ovi, thanks for you answer. That mean to execute a attendant robot of Studio X, I use one license, that is of Studio X license, so in RDA enviroment I can license multiple Studio X from the Orchestrator and monitor this automation.
¿This is correct?
For how many users will the Enterprise license be?
Daniel, that is correct.
Hi Joe,
You will need one license for each user that will use StudioX
Thanks!!!
