StudioX - Disable Verify Execution?

Hi!

We’ve recently updated to 24.10.8, and I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from our Citizen Developers if there is some way to disable the enforcement of “Verify execution” on activities such as “Type Into”.
The reason is a lot of their automations run against a Mainframe emulator, and it’s simply not possible to use “Verify execution” reliably and it’s bothersome to have to remove it everytime.

I’ve been unable to find anything related to the issue in Settings on StudioX or in Automation Ops.

hi @sven.wullum1 ,

As a Workaround:

consider creating a custom template with “Verify execution” disabled. This way, Citizen Developers can duplicate the template for new automations, eliminating the need to manually remove the setting each time.

Hi @sven.wullum1,

You can simple click on “Remove verification” in your screenshot shown above, this will remove verification from a particular activity.

Alternatively, please try below:
To disable “Verify Execution” in UiPath StudioX, navigate to the UI Automation modern section, scroll down to “Verify Execution” and set “Always auto verify typed text” to “False”.

Here’s a more detailed explanation:

  • Locate the Setting: In StudioX, open the activity you want to modify, and go to the UI Automation modern section.
  • Find “Verify Execution”: Scroll down to the “Verify Execution” section.
  • Adjust “Always auto verify typed text”: Set the “Always auto verify typed text” property to “False”.
  • Alternative method: You can also remove the verification of the action performed by the activity by selecting the Menu button after indicating the target and selecting “Remove verification”.

Hope this helps.

As per my knowledge, In UiPath version 24.10.8, there isn’t a global setting to disable “Verify Execution” for activities like Type Into. You will need to manually uncheck Verify Execution in the Properties pane for each Type Into activity.

If you found helpful, feel free to tick as a solution.
