# \[Beginner question\] How to create an array in Studio's Variables tab

Thank you for your help.  
This is a very basic question.  
Could you tell me how to specify a variable’s type?

I’m having trouble setting the type of the left-hand side of an Assign activity.

As shown in the screenshot above, I want to create an array of **System.Diagnostics.Process** on the left-hand side of an Assign activity, but I couldn’t create an array by selecting Browse for Types in the variable type tab.  
I thought I could enter **System.Diagnostics.Process[]** if I could type it in freely, but I couldn’t get it to work.  
I’m sorry for asking such a basic question.  
I would appreciate your guidance.

The Studio version is 2024.10.12 LTS

こんにちは

String配列であれば、変数パネルの型を参照で、Array of Tを選択後、TにStringを設定すれば良いです。

回答が役立ったらSolutionにチェックをお願いします。

ご回答ありがとうございます。  
ArrayOfを選択後に「型を参照」を使うとうまく希望の  
型を作ることができました。

解決しました。
