I am reading a .csv file using Read Storage Text activity in studio web. I am getting below error: 2026-09-04 13:58:45.893 GMT+5:30: Error: UiPath.Core.Activities.Storage.StorageException: BlobFileInfo does not exist. Error code: 1002
at UiPath.Core.Activities.TaskExtensions.ThrowIfNeeded(Task task, Boolean suppresThrowException, Func3 createHttpOperationExceptionError) at UiPath.Core.Activities.Orchestrator.BaseOrchestratorClientActivity.ThrowIfNeeded(AsyncCodeActivityContext ctx, Task task, Boolean suppressThrowException, Func3 createHttpOperationExceptionError)

Storage bucket, file path is correct. I have access to folder and storage bucket.
Since the same workflow works for another user, please check whether both users are using the same Orchestrator folder and have the same Storage Bucket permissions.
Also try List Storage Files with your account and verify that the CSV is visible there. If it is not listed, the issue is likely with the folder/storage bucket access rather than the workflow.
If the file is visible but Read Storage Text still fails, try signing out/in to Studio Web and run it again.
this looks like a bug from UiPath, only the person who have created is able to run the automation with storage bucket and other can’t even if they have all necessary accesses.
I have created a new storage bucket and linked in the project and now I’m able to run successfully but the other person not able to run and getting the same error which I was facing earlier.
BlobFileInfo does not exist (Error 1002) usually means that although the storage bucket and folder permissions are correct, Studio Web cannot resolve the file at the exact storage path/reference being passed to Read Storage Text.
I would try these checks:
Open the Storage Bucket in Orchestrator and verify that the CSV is actually present at the exact path, including the filename and extension.
Check whether the path contains any spaces, special characters, or an incorrect folder separator.
Try uploading a small test CSV with a simple name such as test.csv directly into the bucket and use that file with Read Storage Text.
If the file is being created/uploaded by a previous activity, make sure the upload has completed successfully before calling Read Storage Text.
If you’re passing the path through a variable, log/inspect the actual resolved path at runtime. A path that looks correct in the workflow may resolve differently at runtime.
Also verify that the Studio Web connection/user running the workflow has access to the same Orchestrator folder and storage bucket, rather than only checking your own access.
If a newly uploaded test.csv also gives Error 1002, I would suspect the Storage Bucket/connection configuration rather than the CSV itself.
@Rohit_More This happens because Studio Web defaults the execution context of the workflow to the developer’s Personal Workspace in Orchestrator.
When you create a Storage Bucket while working in your Personal Workspace, it lives inside that private workspace folder. Another team member running or testing the same project runs inside their own Personal Workspace where that bucket does not exist, so Read Storage Text throws BlobFileInfo does not exist.
To make the workflow work for everyone, create the Storage Bucket in a shared Modern Folder (such as Shared) rather than a Personal Workspace, ensure both users have View/Edit permissions on Storage Buckets in that folder, and set the Orchestrator Folder Path property on the activity to that shared folder.
Hi @Rohit_More , if other team members can run the workflow successfully, the issue is likely related to your user account permissions or folder context. Please verify that you’re connected to the same Orchestrator folder and have the same Storage Bucket access as the working user. A sign-out/sign-in to Studio Web may also help refresh the connection.
You can ask the admin to verify that your account has Storage Buckets - View/Read permission and access to the same Orchestrator Folder as the user for whom the workflow is working. Also ask them to compare your folder roles with the working user’s roles.
Hi @Rohit_More ,
Error 1002 - BlobFileInfo does not exist points to UiPath not resolving the requested file. First validate the exact file path returned by the Storage Bucket, not just whether the bucket itself is accessible.
