does anyone know where in the gui of Studio community edition (23.10.1.) we can reduce the size of the left panel for Activities, Project, Snippet? It seems to have a minimum width that is still too large, making the panel take up too much of the center space for development itself. A similar situation is also with the right panel of the gui, where the Properties panel is usually located. I tried to find something in the settings but unfortunately I couldn’t find anything.
yes, already using shrinked to 85%. Anyway he panel of activities is still unnecessarily wide. In case the project/selectors/conditions branching is more complex, I would like to slim down the activity panel to allow more space for the middle one.
I searched the internet how to do it, unfortunately I couldn’t find anything like that, as far for the Community version. It seems that the Enterprise version has no trouble with slimming the activity panel.
Yes, but I don’t like when I want to work as fast as possible in parallel with the flow of ideas, where every drag&drop an activity, it’s one extra click that takes up time. Thank you for your suggestions, cheers
Yeah I tend to agree. I’ve gotten in the habit of wanting the Activities panel always visible. It’s probably faster to use the (+) icons but I just haven’t made myself switch.
Hi,
What I usually do, I organize the layout to put everything in the left panel (even the properties tab and everything), then I have additional space since there is nothing in the right panel anymore.
even though I’m not used to it, this is not a bad idea, it’s a fact that the Properties window doesn’t have to be too high. While the Output window on the right side and auto-hidden durring deveopment can be pushed out with one click during project launch. I’ll try to get used to it.
For earlier versions, the slimming option was variable. But with the latest one, there is a fixed slimming option. It wouldn’t slim beyond a certain limit.
