Recently I had to work using my cell phone as a hotspot. This obviously isn’t the best connection, but my VPN, email, internet browsing, Teams chat, etc all worked - albeit a little slowly.
Studio was completely unusable for files opened from a network share. It seems like it is reading from or writing to disk constantly and every time it did this it froze. I’m talking about something as simple as scrolling…the instant I’d scroll Studio would freeze.
After I copied the files to my local C drive it was fine. Maybe a “low bandwidth” mode would be helpful, or just an overall improvement in the exorbitant read/writes.
