Resolution for UiPath Studio installation issue "Studio installation fails with code 0x80070570" .
Below are the commonly seen error related to the 0x80070570 code while installing UiPath Studio,
- Error 0x80070570: Failed to extract all files from container.
- Error 0x80070570: Failed to begin and wait for an operation.
- Error 0x80070570: Failed to extract payload: a4 from container: WixAttachedContainer
- Failed to extract payloads from container: WixAttachedContainer to working path: C:\Users\ROBOT_~1\AppData\Local\Temp\{CCF5D2D6-1C23-4184-A64E-858E4042DA92}\.cr\UiPathPlatformInstaller.exe, error: 0x80070570.
Root Cause: This issue occurs due to the below reasons,
- Corrupted media / installer.
- The user does not have permission to write to the %temp% Location, where the files are extracted to before installing.
- The user does not have access to the network location where the installer is saved.
- Installation blocked by any antivirus / security software.
Resolution:
- Download the installer again and then try installing using the newly downloaded installer
- Ensure the running user has permission to write to the %temp% Location
- If you use any network location for the installation, change the location to the local drive
- Disable any running antivirus/security software while doing the installation.
