# StudioからGitHubのリポジトリを複製しようとする時にユーザーとパスワードを入力すると 「認証に失敗しました」エラーが発生する

## **❔ Question**

Studio上、[チーム] \> [リポジトリを複製] からGitHubのリポジトリを複製しようとする際にGitHubのユーザーとパスワードを入力すると「認証に失敗しました」とエラーになってしまいます。

## **💡 Answer**

GitHubは2021年8月にHTTPS経由のパスワード認証が利用できなくなる旨のアナウンスがされております。そのためGitHub側で認証エラーとなっている可能性が考えられます。

回避策として、トークンによる認証をご利用ください。
